At the Mercure Nações Unidas Hotel in São Paulo, Brazil, the FIFDS was created with the purpose of promoting the development of football for people with Down syndrome at an international level, uniting countries through sport, inclusion, and respect.

About FIFDS

The International Federation of Football for People with Down Syndrome (FIFDS) is a non-profit sports association dedicated to the promotion, organization, and development of football for people with Down syndrome, creating opportunities for integration, achievement, and leadership for athletes around the world.

FIFDS has its Official Headquarters in Portugal, while the International Technical Department is located in Brazil, responsible for the development of training methodologies, professional qualification, and the organization of international competitions.
